Datadog Hosts Azure Observability Workshop in Amsterdam Ahead of Datadog Live

AMSTERDAM – Datadog is hosting a dedicated Azure observability workshop on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Datadog Amsterdam Office (Herengracht 601). This technical session is designed for engineers and operations professionals seeking hands-on experience with Azure monitoring through the Datadog platform.

Practical Skills for Modern Cloud Monitoring

The “Datadog & Azure Observability Workshop” will help attendees deepen their understanding of how Datadog works with Azure environments to provide real-time visibility across infrastructure and applications. The session focuses on validating Azure integrations, exploring native dashboards, and using Datadog’s tools to troubleshoot issues that arise in production-like scenarios.

Led by senior Datadog experts, participants will get hands-on guidance on instrumenting Azure App Services, understanding key observability signals, and correlating telemetry from logs, metrics, and traces. Attendees will also be introduced to out-of-the-box Azure dashboards and monitors that help streamline operational workflows.

Agenda Highlights and Community Engagement

The workshop begins at 13:00 CET and features a structured agenda including a welcome and kickoff, a practical lab session, and an interactive Q&A. This session is scheduled before Datadog Live Amsterdam, giving participants the opportunity to continue learning at the larger event and network with fellow professionals and Datadog technical leaders.

Why Observability Matters for Azure

Azure is a complex ecosystem of services, from App Services to event routing and service health signals. With Datadog’s Azure integration, organizations can collect and correlate metrics, logs, and events to gain a full view of system health and performance. Datadog’s platform makes it easier to visualize telemetry across workloads, helping teams react quickly to incidents and maintain availability.

Registration and Logistics

The in-person workshop starts at 1 pm CET at the Datadog Amsterdam office on March 12. Prospective attendees are encouraged to register early — capacities are limited to maintain an interactive, technical environment. Registration is open through the official Datadog events page, and attendance is free of charge.

Whether you’re responsible for cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps practices, this workshop offers practical skills and insights that can be applied immediately to your Azure observability strategy.
