AWS announces Amazon EC2 Mac Instances

AWS has recently announced the expansion of its EC2 servers, and will allow Apple developers to run on-demand macOS workloads on the AWS cloud. This means expanding the flexibility and scalability of the cloud, with a pricing model of pay-as-you-go. This far, AWS has only suggested Linux & Windows machines. 

Google plans to acquire Actifio

To improve GCP’s data-protection capabilities, Google aspires to acquire the cloud-focused data-protection platform Actifio. The move is designated to mainly affect the protection of Enterprises workloads, in the cloud and on-premise. We know that Actifio has raised more than $350M and is valued at more than $1B, though the price of the deal is yet to be published. 


Cyber Security Cloud launches WebCharm in Microsoft Azure

WebCharm helps businesses to implement Web Applications Firewalls (WAFs), and is already available to more than million AWS customers from all around the world. As a result from the announcement of the availability in Azure, Azure customers will enjoy AI operation of WAF, and WebCharm will expand its availability to 60% of the cloud users around the Globe.
